FREE MONEY! Ilhan Omar Says Government Must ‘CANCEL ALL’ $1.5 TRILLION in Student Debt

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.06.19

Controversial Congresswoman Ilhan Omar doubled-down on her previous demands to forgive student debt in America over the weekend; saying the government must “cancel” over $1.5 trillion in education loans.

“This is the result of a system that tells students to go to college in order to have a stable life—but then keeps them in a lifelong cycle of debt. It’s why we need to make college tuition and debt-free and cancel all $1.5 trillion student debt,” posted Omar on social media.

Rep. Omar found herself in hot-water weeks ago when she flippantly referred to the 9/11 terror attacks as just “some people” who “did something.”

ECONOMICS 101: Cortez Confuses Tax Cuts AGAIN, Wants to ‘Forgive’ Student Debt with Non-Existent Money

Embattled Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her calls for total student loan forgiveness Wednesday evening; bizarrely suggesting tax cuts could be used to finance her massive proposal.

“Cost of the GOP Tax Scam for the rich: ~$1.8-2.3 Trillion. Cost of forgiving all student loans in America: ~$1.5 Trillion. Clearly where there’s a will, there’s a way. When people say that there isn’t ‘enough’ to do these things, what they mean is they don’t *want* to do them,” posted Cortez on social media.

Cortez made similar comments weeks ago when she suggested New York could use Amazon’s proposed tax breaks to fix the region’s crumbling infrastructure and hire more teachers.

FREE MONEY! Sen. Warren Calls for Free College, Cancellation of Student Debt, Will Cost $1.25 TRILLION

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.22.19

Senator Elizabeth Warren outlined her plan Monday to offer free college tuition to all Americans while forgiving pre-existing student loan debt; admitting the expensive proposal would likely cost $1.25 trillion over the next decade.

“We got into this crisis because state governments and the federal government decided that instead of treating higher education like our public school system — free and accessible to all Americans — they’d rather cut taxes for billionaires and giant corporations and offload the cost of higher education onto students and their families,” writes Warren.

“Experts estimate my debt cancellation plan creates a one-time cost to the government of $640 billion. The Universal Free College program brings the total cost of the program to roughly $1.25 trillion over ten years,” she adds.

Warren’s proposal would provide cost-free tuition for public colleges and would cancel up to $50,000 in student loan debt for Americans earning under $100,000 per year.
