Embattled Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar viciously attacked the US Special Envoy for Venezuela Elliott Abrams during his congressional testimony Wednesday; bizarrely asking if the official would support a “genocide in Venezuela”
“I fail to understand why members of this committee or the American people should find any testimony that you give today to be truthful,” said Omar.

SHE’S SORRY: Ilhan Omar ‘Unequivocally Apologizes' for Anti-Semitic Twitter Rant
Recently sworn-in Rep. Ilhan Omar “unequivocally apologized” for her anti-Semitic tirade on social media Monday; saying she’s “grateful for Jewish allies and colleagues who are educating me on the painful history of anti-Semitic tropes.”
“We have to always be willing to step back and think through criticism, just as I expect people to hear me when others attack me for my identity. That is why I unequivocally apologize,” she posted.

“Anti-Semitism has no place in the United States Congress. Congresswoman Omar, it’s terrible what she said. I think she should either resign from Congress or she should certainly resign from the House Foreign Affairs Committee,” said the President.
“What she said is so deep-seated in her heart, that her lame apology -she didn’t mean a word of it- was just not appropriate. I think she should resign from Congress, frankly,” he added.
