Sen. Dianne Feinstein unveiled her preferred pick to run against Donald Trump for the White House in 2020 Thursday; telling reporters she wants Joe Biden to win the Democratic Party’s nomination and run for office.
Feinstein was speaking with Politico when she was asked if she had a favorite heading into a prolonged primary season with upwards of 30 or 40 potential candidates vying for the DNC’s nomination.
“Joe was chairman of the Judiciary [Committee] when he came to this place. I’ve watched him as vice president, I’ve seen him operate, I’ve seen him perform,” Feinstein said. “He brings a level of experience and seniority which I think is really important.”
Former Vice President Biden leads the field in most recent polling; beating Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by large margins.

FEINSTEIN FAIL: FBI says ‘NO INVESTIGATION’ into Mysterious Kavanaugh Letter
Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s last-minute curveball to derail Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings ended in total failure Friday, with the FBI saying they have no plans to open a criminal investigation into the legislator’s mysterious letter.
The left-wing lawmaker suddenly announced this week the existence of a secret letter sent to the FBI regarding Kavanaugh’s nomination; citing the anonymous message as a reason to indefinitely delay the proceedings.
Insiders say Feinstein has had possession of the mysterious material since mid-summer.
“Several officials confirmed that the letter was referred to the FBI. But the bureau does not plan to launch a criminal investigation, according to a person familiar with the matter — a probe that would normally be handled by local authorities if it were within the statute of limitations,” writes the Washington Post.
“Instead, the FBI passed the material to the White House as an update to Kavanaugh’s background check, which already has been completed,” adds the article.

FEINSTEIN’S NEXT FIGHT: The Senator Slams Trump’s Plan to ‘STACK THE COURT’
Sen. Dianne Feinstein settled on her next fight against the Trump administration Thursday night; slamming the White House for planning to “stack” the 9th Circuit Court without “consulting” her office.
Feinstein unloaded on the Trump administration hours after the Senate Judiciary Committee unveiled their plan to confirm upwards of 40 judges ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.
“The decision to move forward on 9th Circuit nominees without consultation or responding to my acceptance of the White House’s offer reflects President Trump’s desire to stack the court. I expect my blue slips to be honored as I was acting in good faith,” posted the liberal leader.
