FANTASYLAND: House Manager Says Impeachment ‘Historic Success,’ ‘We Successfully Prosecuted’ Donald Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.16.21

The House Impeachment Managers congratulated themselves despite failing to convict Donald Trump over the weekend; saying it was a “dramatic success in historical terms” and they “successfully prosecuted him.”

“Well, I think it was a dramatic success in historical terms,” Raskin said. “It was by far the most bipartisan majority that’s ever assembled in the Senate to convict a president, which has traditionally been a kind of partisan thing in American history.”

“Now, unfortunately, it didn’t reach the two-thirds majority in the Senate,” Raskin continued.

“I think we successfully prosecuted him and convicted him in the court of public opinion and in the court of history. He’s obviously a major political problem for the Republican Party. As long as he’s out there attempting to wage war on American constitutional democracy, he’s a problem for all of us,” he added.

BREAKING: Donald Trump Answers Articles of Impeachment, Calls Process ‘Unconstitutional’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.02.21

Former President Donald Trump officially responded to the Democrats’ Articles of Impeachment Tuesday; calling the process “Unconstitutional” since he can no longer be removed from office if convicted of inciting an “open insurrection” against the US Congress.

“Donald Trump, 45th President of the United States respectfully requests the Honorable Members of the Senate of the United States dismiss Article I: Incitement of Insurrection against him as moot, and thus in violation of the Constitution,” reads the statement.

DEM FURY on DISPLAY: Defense Team to Highlight Democrats’ Vicious Rhetoric, Anti-Trump Rage

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.12.21

Donald Trump’s Impeachment Defense Team will make their case to 100 Senators Friday; highlighting vicious rhetoric and hateful language deployed by Democrats since the former President took office in January 2017.

“They’re likely to point out past instances when Democrats have used combative rhetoric, playing videos similar to how the House impeachment managers used video of Trump speaking to make their case against him,” reports Fox News.

“Trump’s attorneys are also expected to argue, as they previewed in briefs submitted to the Senate, that the House impeachment managers are taking Trump’s words out of context as they aim to get 67 senators to vote to convict him of inciting an insurrection,” adds Fox.

“I think you’ll at least be moved by what you see and get a much better picture of exactly what’s going on here and the hypocrisy in some of the positions taken by the House managers in this case,” Trump lawyer David Schoen said on “America Reports” Thursday.

“The House managers focused a great deal on the president, using words like ‘fight’ or ‘fight like hell,'” Senator Ted Cruz said. “Well, if that constitutes incitement, then every single political candidate in America is guilty of incitement, because I guarantee you all 100 senators in that chamber have stood on the stump and said we need to ‘fight’ or ‘fight like hell.'”
