FANTASYLAND: First Democrat Says Party Will ‘Impeach Trump Again’ if He Wins in 2020

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.11.19

California Congresswoman Karen Bass said her party is willing to “impeach Trump again” should the President win re-election next November; hoping next time the Democrats will control the United States Senate.

“There’s no such thing, really, as double jeopardy in an impeachment trial because it’s political,” said TMZ founder Harvey Levin. “Suppose he gets reelected… and you win back the Senate in a big way. If you did that, would you be inclined to take a second bite at the apple and reintroduce the exact same impeachment articles and then send it through again a second if you have a Democratic Senate on your side?”

“So, you know, yes, but I don’t think it would be exactly the same and here’s why,” Bass responded, “because even though we are impeaching him now, there’s still a number of court cases, there’s a ton of information that could come forward. For example, we could get his bank records and find out that he’s owned 100 percent by the Russians.”

“You are absolutely right in your scenario, but the only thing I would say slightly different is, it might not be the same articles of impeachment because the odds are we would have a ton more information, and then the odds of that, sadly enough, is that, you know, he probably has other examples of criminal behavior,” she added.

FANTASYLAND: California’s Gavin Newsom Says Republicans Headed for the ‘Waste Bin of History’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.17.19

California’s far-left Governor Gavin Newsom issued a dire prediction for the Republican Party this week; claiming the GOP was quickly heading towards the “waste bin of history.”

“America in 2019 is California in the 1990s,” he told Politico. “The xenophobia, the nativism, the fear of ‘the other.’ Scapegoating. Talking down or past people. The hysteria. And so, we’re not going to put up with that. We are going to push back.”

“What’s so remarkable about someone with the experience and temperament of Speaker Pelosi is that she’s seen a lot of movies,’’ Newsom said. “She’s been there. She’s got a better sense than a lot of folks. So I think we should stay the course. What we’re doing is working … I think Democrats are winning right now.”

“[Republicans] will go the same direction — into the waste bin of history, the way Republicans of the ’90s have gone. That’s exactly what will happen to this crop of national Republicans,” he added.

Newsom unveiled his plan last month to form a Homeless Task Force to tackle the housing crisis crippling the region; bizarrely calling the issue a “national” disgrace.

“Gov. Gavin Newsom called growing homelessness in California a national disgrace as he announced that he is launching a task force to find solutions,” posted the Ventura County Star.

“Newsom has proposed spending about $1 billion in the state budget on programs to tackle homelessness, including providing $650 million to local governments for emergency shelters and other services. He also wants to spend money on programs for homeless college students and legal protections for people facing evictions,” reports the VC Star.

Newsom’s comments come as San Francisco officials report a 45% increase of homeless residents living in cars and RVS across the city streets.

FANTASYLAND: Gavin Newsom Says Trump Wrecking ‘Growing Economy’ he ‘Inherited from Obama’

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.29.19

Far-left California Governor Gavin Newsom slammed the White House’s strong record on the economy over the weekend; suggesting the President is wrecking the “growing economy” he “inherited from Obama.”

“Trump’s big talk of the strongest economy is all smoke and mirrors. The truth remains: He inherited a growing economy from Obama and is failing to preserve it,” posted Newsom on social media.

Newsom signed new legislation earlier this year that provides free healthcare to all illegal immigrants under the age of 25 residing in California; a program that will cost the state $98 million in new taxes.

“The budget extends health care benefits to California residents 19-25 years of age regardless of their immigration status. The bill, introduced earlier this year, is estimated to cover about 90,000 low-income residents overall and comes with a roughly $98 million price tag,” reports the Hill. “California already offers health care to residents under 19 years old regardless of their immigration status. The new law extends that coverage, under its Medi-Cal program, to an expanded age group.”

“The budget also provides support to middle-class families with monthly health insurance premiums, which will be paid for by reviving an individual mandate penalty, part of the Affordable Care Act, taxing individuals who do not have health insurance,” adds the website.
