We Fund the Blue Foundation Hosts Cookout & Cleanup for Border Patrol, Law Enforcement, and National Guard in Hidalgo County, Texas
Today, Friday 2-21-25, We Fund the Blue Foundation is hosting a special cookout to show appreciation for the Border Patrol agents, law enforcement officers, and National Guard soldiers stationed along the southern border.
As part of the Make America Clean Again initiative, a large-scale border cleanup will follow on Saturday, 2-21-25 ensuring a cleaner, safer environment for those who serve and protect our nation.
In our effort to provide frontline personnel with much-needed support and care, We Fund the Blue brought the following service providers to Hidalgo County:
• A professional chiropractor to offer free adjustments and wellness care.
• Two skilled barbers to provide complimentary haircuts.
• Two talented chefs to prepare a fresh, hot meal for all attendees.
“These men and women work day and night to secure our border and keep our country safe.” said John Rourke, founder of We Fund the Blue Foundation. “We want to give back in a meaningful way that will ensure that they feel appreciated, supported, and taken care of.
The cookout today is about camaraderie and gratitude, and tomorrow’s cleanup is about action—restoring the environment they work in every day.”

This event is part of the Make America Clean Again movement. A movement that aims to clean up communities across the country while also addressing critical issues like homelessness, drug addiction, and public safety. Volunteers are encouraged to join the cleanup effort on Saturday and help restore the area for those who serve on the frontlines.
