House Majority Whip Tom Emmer blasted Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for recent comments Walz made suggesting that people were disappointed upon learning that reports about President Trump’s failing health were a hoax.
“Stop wishing ill will on the President and show some backbone—pick up the phone and call him. You have the power to make Minnesota safe again. Quit wrecking our great state with your reckless, radical progressive policies!” Emmer posted on X.
Emmer shared a recent Fox News clip where he called Walz “a complete and total failure.”
“He’s exacerbated the mental health crisis in Minnesota. He’s exacerbated the [crime] in Minnesota,” Emmer added.

Trump responded to the health rumors from the Oval Office on Tuesday.
“Last week, I did numerous news conferences… I didn’t do any for two days and they said there must be something wrong with him. Biden wouldn’t do them for months… nobody ever said there was ever anything wrong,” Trump said.
