EAGLE SOARS: American Eagle Stock Up 20% After President Trump Praises Sweeney Ad

American Eagle’s partnership with sultry superstar Sydney Sweeney paid off in a big way Monday, as the retailer’s stock soared nearly 20% following President Trump’s praise of her “fantastic” ad.

Trump’s endorsement came after the Euphoria and White Lotus actress revealed she’s a registered Republican.

“Oh, now I adore her ad … If Sydney Sweeney is registered, I think her ad is fantastic,” Trump said Sunday.

The American Eagle ad featuring Sweeney decked out in denim sparked a “woke” uproar from social media users who objected to the “great jeans” wordplay that some interpret as having racial overtones.

But the fury from left-wing activists was met with its own backlash against the woke mob by HBO’s Bill Maher and others

Trump amplified his support for Sweeney on his Truth Social platform, calling the American Eagle advertisements “fantastic” and claiming the featured jeans were “flying off the shelves.”

The renewed attention sent the retailer’s stock skyrocketing 17%, to $12.61 as of noon ET.

The clothing company’s market capitalization now stands at $2.14 billion, though shares remain well below their 52-week peak of $22.82.

The stock has been trading in a range between $9.27 and that high over the past year, with Monday’s gains representing a notable reversal after recent losses.

Trump shared the following TRUTH Social post on Monday:

Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the “HOTTEST” ad out there. It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are “flying off the shelves.” Go get ‘em Sydney! On the other side of the ledger, Jaguar did a stupid, and seriously WOKE advertisement, THAT IS A TOTAL DISASTER! The CEO just resigned in disgrace, and the company is in absolute turmoil. Who wants to buy a Jaguar after looking at that disgraceful ad. Shouldn’t they have learned a lesson from Bud Lite, which went Woke and essentially destroyed, in a short campaign, the Company. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can’t stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT.
