DOUBLING DOWN: Rep. Omar Claims ‘MAGA’ Kids Were ‘Leading Racist Chants’

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.23.19

Recently sworn-in Rep. Ilhan Omar found herself in hot-water from both sides of the political spectrum Tuesday night; baselessly claiming the group of Catholic students were leading “racist chants” and “taunting” people in the nation’s capital.

“-The boys were protesting a woman’s right to choose & yelled ‘it’s not rape if you enjoy it’ -They were taunting 5 Black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants,” she tweeted.

Omar made national headlines just days ago when she doubled-down on her previous anti-Israeli statements; claiming Israel had “hypnotized” the rest of the world.

BACKLASH: Dem. Rep Who Claims Israel ‘Hypnotizes the World’ Appointed to Foreign Affairs Committee

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.18.19

Recently sworn-in Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has been appointed to the House Foreign Affairs Committee; sparking outrage from those familiar with her previous remarks surrounding the State of Israel.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been hit with a backlash over her decision to assign freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar to the House Foreign Affairs Committee, despite the Minnesota Democrat’s record of anti-Israel advocacy,” writes the Washington Times.

“It is disgraceful that Speaker Pelosi and her Democrat majority gave a coveted seat on the House Foreign Relations Committee to a member who has a documented history of making anti-Semitic and anti-Israel remarks,” Rep. Steve Scalise said Thursday.

Omar recently defended her scathing critique of Israel; writing back in 2012 “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

WATCH: Dem. Rep. DEFENDS Anti-Israel Tweet Saying Jewish State Has ‘Hypnotized’ the World

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.17.19

Recently sworn-in Congresswoman Ilhan Omar refused to condemn her previous comments that accused Israel of “hypnotizing the world” Thursday; saying she was unsure why “Jewish-Americans” would find her statement “offensive.”

Omar was speaking with CNN when she defended her vicious rhetoric against the Jewish State back in 2012 when she posted “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

“I don’t know how my comments would be offensive to Jewish Americans. My comments are precisely addressing what was happening during the Gaza War. I’m clearly speaking about the way the Israeli regime was conducting itself in that war,” said Omar.
