That mug is worth millions.
According to a report from CBS News, the Trump Campaign has turned Donald Trump’s Fulton County Jail mugshot into a fundraising boon for the 2024 GOP frontrunner.
More than $7 million dollars have been raised by Team Trump, with the campaign raising $4.18 million on Saturday alone.
Organic money has skyrocketed, especially after President Trump tweeted out the picture along with the website,” the spokesperson said.
“I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA,” Trump wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Thursday.
“The spokesperson also said the campaign raised ‘close to $20 million’ in the last three weeks, in which Trump was also indicted on separate charges in connection with his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election,” CBS News reported.
Trump’s mugshot merch store was online almost immediately after his arrest, with shirts, mugs, stickers, posters, and more available for donors to purchase the same day as his arrest.
Trump did not have his booking photo taken during his previous arrests in New York City, Miami and Washington, D.C. —but Fulton County Jail in Georgia insisted in a move that has clearly backfired.
