DON THE DEALMAKER: Hamas Accepts Trump's Peace Deal, 'ALL Hostages Will Be Released Very Soon'

Hamas has accepted a U.S.-brokered peace plan engineered by President Donald Trump — a deal that would end the Gaza war, free the remaining hostages, and mark the first negotiated stand-down between Israel and Hamas in nearly two decades.

Two years after Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023 massacre — the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust — both sides have now signed on to what Trump called “the first phase of our Peace Plan.”

“ALL of the hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their troops to an agreed-upon line as the first steps toward a strong, durable, and everlasting peace,” Trump wrote Wednesday on Truth Social. “All parties will be treated fairly. This is a GREAT day for the Arab and Muslim world, Israel, all surrounding nations, and the United States of America. BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!”

The agreement follows weeks of shuttle diplomacy involving mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, coordinated by U.S. envoy Ric Grenell and senior officials at the State Department and National Security Council.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had already endorsed the 20-point American plan last week, which conditions a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza on the safe return of all 48 hostages still held by Hamas. The Hostages and Missing Families Forum estimates 21 are believed to be alive.
