Stephen A. Smith stopped by Wednesday night’s Hannity to chat with host Sean Hannity about the “embarrassing” state of the Democratic Party.
“I don’t consider myself a member of the Democratic Party. I’m very ashamed of what I’ve seen from them over the last several years,” Stephen A. said, citing examples from the recent joint session.
Dems didn’t stand for the First Lady. They didn’t stand for 13-year-old cancer survivors. They didn’t stand for families whose lives were forever changed by illegal migrant crime. They stand for nothing.
“It’s absolutely pathetic,” Stephen A. said.
“I don’t know whi the hell came up with the dancing videos. I don’t know who the hell came up with 22 representatives at the same time saying the same message. Nothing innovative. Nothing authentic. It was just the same old same old. I don’t know who the hell came up with that,” Stephen A. said.
“What we’re seeing from them, it isn’t working. We’re not buying what they’re selling,” Stephen A. continued, adding that Democrats should learn to deal with Donald Trump.
Stephen A. said Democrats can’t just be the party of Trump opposition.
“They’re literally sitting up on Capitol Hill acting like their only job is to be an opposite of Donald Trump in every way — that’s not going to get them the midterms! That’s not going to get them the White House!” Stephen A. said.
