The Trump administration pulled back the curtain on their Middle East Peace Plan Monday; unveiling a possible $50 billion investment in what the White House referred to as the “Deal of the Century.”
“The ‘Peace to Prosperity’ venture, which was rolled out over the weekend and is being officially proposed in Manama during a two-day workshop, seeks to raise about $50 billion. The plan offers ‘an ambitious, achievable vision and framework for a prosperous future for the Palestinian people and the region,’ according to a White House statement,” reports Fox News.
“The administration’s team — led by senior White House adviser Jared Kushner; Jason Greenblatt, U.S. envoy for international negotiations; and David Friedman, U.S. ambassador to Israel — has developed a detailed portfolio of projects to stimulate economic growth with the aim of doubling the Palestinian GDP and creating more than 1 million new jobs as well as reducing poverty and unemployment rates,” adds Fox.
The plan is being described as Middle East Marshall Plan; hoping to shore-up safety and security through economic investment.
The announcement comes less than one week after Iran abruptly shot-down a US drone plan operating in the region.
President Trump confirmed last Friday he called-off a retaliatory attack against Iran “10 minutes” before the mission; saying the operation was not “proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone.”
“President Obama made a desperate and terrible deal with Iran – Gave them 150 Billion Dollars plus I.8 Billion Dollars in CASH! Iran was in big trouble and he bailed them out. Gave them a free path to Nuclear Weapons, and SOON. Instead of saying thank you, Iran yelled Death to America. I terminated deal, which was not even ratified by Congress, and imposed strong sanctions. They are a much weakened nation today than at the beginning of my Presidency, when they were causing major problems throughout the Middle East. Now they are Bust!” tweeted the Commander-in-Chief.
“On Monday they shot down an unmanned drone flying in International Waters. We were cocked & loaded to retaliate last night on 3 different sights when I asked, how many will die. 150 people, sir, was the answer from a General. 10 minutes before the strike I stopped it, not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone. I am in no hurry, our Military is rebuilt, new, and ready to go, by far the best in the world. Sanctions are biting & more added last night. Iran can NEVER have Nuclear Weapons, not against the USA, and not against the WORLD!” he added.

“A source had confirmed to Fox News earlier Friday morning that the administration made a last-minute decision to call off the retaliatory strikes against Iran. But until Trump’s tweets, few details about the aborted mission and the circumstances that led to the reversal were publicly available. And it remained unclear Friday whether strike plans have been definitively shelved,” reports Fox.
A NEW DEAL: US Unveils ’12 Requirements’ for New Iran Agreement
United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo unveiled the Trump administration’s list of demands for a new Iranian nuclear agreement this week; calling on leaders in Tehran to halt all uranium enrichment and cease its support for terror groups throughout the Middle East.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Pompeo revealed the preconditions during a speaking event in Washington, DC earlier Monday; saying Iran needs to fulfill “12 basic requirements” to reach a new agreement with the United States to ease crippling economic sanctions.
The list includes halting uranium enrichment, severing its ties with militants operating in the region, and walking away from Iranian involvement in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, and Afghanistan.
“Relief from sanctions will come only when we see tangible, demonstrated, and sustained shifts in Tehran’s policies,” Mr. Pompeo said. “We acknowledge Iran’s right to defend its people. But not its actions which jeopardize the world’s citizens.”
“These will end up being the strongest sanctions in history by the time we are complete,” added the Secretary of State.
AL QAEDA RETURNS? US Offers $1M for Info on Bin Laden’s Son; Saudi Arabia STRIPS Citizenship
Saudi Arabia stripped Osama bin Laden’s son of his Kingdom citizenship Friday after the United States offered $1 million for information leading to his capture; sparking new speculation his father’s terror organization is trying to stage a comeback in the Middle East.
“Saudi Arabia’s foreign ministry announced Friday that it was revoking the citizenship of Hamza bin Laden, son of the slain Al Qaeda leader responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks,” reports Fox News.
Hamza bin Laden was officially designated a “global terrorist” over two years ago by the US State Department after American officials confirmed he had taken the helm of the vast terror network from Egyptian leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.
US Navy Seals tracked and killed Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan in 2011 after hiding from global authorities since the American military launched Operation Enduring Freedom following the September 11th, 2001 terror attacks.
