The Press Sec. has a few choice words for the donkey party.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stopped by Hannity Wednesday night to discuss President Trump’s State of the Union address — specifically, the Democrat Party’s reaction, both on the Hill and in the press.
“Unfortunately, it appears Democrats’ brains have been so debilitated by Trump Derangement Syndrome, they can’t even stand and root for Team USA,” Leavitt said, leveling the Dems for the unpatriotic SOTU moment.
This isn’t Barack Obama’s Democratic Party or Bill Clinton’s.
“I think the absolute genius in the speech last night is that the President created the greatest comparative choice election this country will ever face,” Hannity said, highlighting the moment Trump asked the chamber to stand in support of American citizens’ protection over illegal aliens.
“They didn’t stand, Karoline — they sat. What does that say?” Hannity asked.
“It shows their true colors, Sean. President Trump set the Democrats up in a trial, and they failed,” Leavitt said. “They truly stand on the side of career criminals who have gone to jail not once, not twice, not three times, but twelve times in the case of the young woman in North Carolina whose neck was slit by a career criminal who was released back onto the streets by Democrat policies, and they could not even stand for her heartbrorken mother who President Trump was commending last night.”
“It was so despicable to be in that chamber and to watch as these Democrats showed their true colors.”
Leavitt says the Democrats “stand for nothing, except being against Donald Trump.”
