Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke with Sean Hannity Tuesday night about Big Apple socialist and mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s radical record.

We’re talking left of AOC.

“This guy makes de Blasio look like Ronald Reagan,” DeSantis quipped. “I remember when de Blasio was mayor during COVID, it sparked a flow out of New York City and into Florida … I think this guy’s policies are probably the most radical left I’ve ever seen from a major party candidate in a big jurisdiction.”

DeSantis continued: “It’s the crazy economics, saying they want to tax white neighborhoods more. But he also wants to abolish the NYPD. He doesn’t want to send officers to dangerous areas; he wants to send social workers. This is something above and beyond the destruction that New York City has already seen.”

DeSantis joked he’ll have to charge an entry tax from Americans fleeing New York for the free state of Florida.

DeSantis also discussed “Alligator Alcatraz” — Florida’s new processing and deportation facility in the middle of the Florida Everglades.
