Americans aren’t buying ‘Bidenomics’ —and neither is Ron DeSantis.
During a recent Fox News appearance Florida Governor and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis took an ax to President Biden’s economic policy, saying it’s failing Americans and handing more control to the Biden Administration.
“[Bidenomics] means you pay more for everything, your standard of living declines, you have less freedom, but the government has much more power, and they want to wield that power over the economy to advance a very liberal political agenda,” DeSantis told “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo.
“We need a president to come in and really, really clean house, and I will do that on day one,” he said.
DeSantis continued torching Biden on Twitter on Monday, sharing an article from The Wall Street Journal about skyrocketing grocery prices.
“Bidenomics means you pay more at the grocery store. As president, I will rip up Joe Biden’s failed liberal economic agenda. We cannot settle for a declining standard of living,” he tweeted.

The Sunshine State Gov. also took a jab at the recent Axios story that outted Joe as an “old yeller” who curses at his staff in private —a far cry from his “kind Uncle Joe” act.
“The president’s admonitions include: ‘God dammit, how the f— don’t you know this?!,’ ‘Don’t f—ing bulls— me!’ and ‘Get the f— out of here!’” DeSantis cited the Axios report on Twitter Monday.
“This is how most Americans feel when the president tells them Bidenomics is working,” the GOP presidential candidate added.
