GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz was abruptly removed from the Democrats’ ongoing impeachment hearing Monday after the Republican attempted to take-part in the House Intelligence Committee’s latest effort to remove President Trump from office.
“Gaetz, who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, attempted to attend the testimony of Fiona Hill, a former deputy assistant to the president, but was told that because he was not a member of the House Intelligence Committee that he had to leave. The House Intelligence, Oversight and Foreign Affairs committees are conducting the impeachment inquiry into Trump,” reports Fox News.
“It’s not like I’m on agriculture,” Gaetz said. “What are the Democrats so afraid of?”
“Judiciary Chairman [Jerry Nadler] claimed to have begun the impeachment inquiry weeks ago,” Gaetz tweeted. “Now, his own Judiciary members aren’t even allowed to participate in it. And yes – my constituents want me actively involved in stopping the #KangarooCourtCoup run by Shifty Schiff.”

GAETZ ON HANNITY: We’re Seeing a True Fissure in the Democratic Party
Congressman Matt Gaetz stopped-by ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night to weigh-in on Corey Lewandowski’s explosive hearing on Capitol Hill; saying we’re beginning to see a “true fissure” within the Democratic Party.
“I’m watching Corey Lewandowski, and even Democrats are expressing their frustration,” said Hannity.
“Corey Lewandowski was very precise. Democrats looked like a dog chasing a car, and then caught it and then did not know what to do about it. We know the radical left says terrible things, but you should hear what they’re saying about one another,” said Gaetz.
“Behind closed doors, we’re seeing a true fissure in the Democratic Party. You’ve got moderate Democrats saying it’s a crazy idea bringing Corey Lewandowski forward,” he added.
Lewandowski slammed Jerrold Nadler’s Judiciary Committee Tuesday; saying the Russia-Collusion narrative is the “greatest crime committed against the American people” in a generation.
“I think this fake Russia-Collusion narrative is the greatest crime committed against the American people in our generation, if not ever… Members of certain bodies refuse to accept election results,” said Lewandowski.
“If this had been done by a different President to a different party the same way it was done to Donald Trump, those people would already be thrown out of office and people would be in jail. But when you support Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, there’s a different set of rules,” he added.

REP. GAETZ: Impeachment is a ‘Kangaroo Court’ and Adam Schiff is ‘Captain Kangaroo’
Representatives Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz ripped Adam Schiff’s latest move to impeach President Trump from the Capitol Tuesday; calling his committee a “Kangaroo Court” and labeling the Intel Chair as “Captain Kangaroo.”
“What we see in this impeachment is a kangaroo court, and Chairman Schiff is acting like a malicious Captain Kangaroo,” said Gaetz.

President Trump made similar comments Tuesday morning regarding the Democrats’ obsession with his 33-minute phone call with the leader of Ukraine.
“I would love to send Ambassador Sondland, a really good man and great American, to testify, but unfortunately he would be testifying before a totally compromised kangaroo court, where Republican’s rights have been taken away, and true facts are not allowed out for the public to see. Importantly, Ambassador Sondland’s tweet, which few report, stated, ‘I believe you are incorrect about President Trump’s intentions. The President has been crystal clear: no quid pro quo’s of any kind.’ That says it ALL!” posted the President on social media.
