Denmark is following England’s lead in kicking all COVID-19 restrictions to the curb. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced the good news in a press conference this week.
“We are saying farewell to the restrictions and welcome to life as we knew it before corona,” the Prime Minister said
According to Bloomberg, Denmark’s current safety protocols involve limited opening hours for restaurants and bars, use of Covid passports and the requirement of face masks in stores and at some indoor events.
But that’s all over now.
Frederiksen says it’s all thanks to the vaccine —a “super-weapon.” “That’s why the government decided that coronavirus should no longer be considered a threatening disease for society.”
