Lone Star Senator Ted Cruz stopped by Hannity Wednesday night to blast Golden State Governor Gavin Newsom — a governor who has a habit of running away from facts.

“Gavin Newsom is very good at being slick … and running away from his record,” Cruz said. “California has massage advantages: beautiful scenery, beautiful natural resources … it’s been blessed to be an incredible economic engine for this country for decades … how did these people manage to screw this place up?”

“It’s a combination of every bad left-wing idea,” Cruz continued. “Out-of-control taxes. Out-of-control regulation. Out-of-control lawsuits. If you try to start a business, you’ll get sued like crazy. Your house gets burned down in a fire, you can’t rebuild it.”
