Congressman Dan Crenshaw addressed the Republican National Convention Wednesday night; telling Americans real heroism is about “self-sacrifice” not about “lecturing others” or “perpetual rage.”
“Here’s the truth about America. We are a country of heroes. I believe that, so should you. We’re a people with ideals conceived in liberty. People that have sacrificed time and time again. No other country can claim that,” said Crenshaw.
“America has a long history of duty. Our enemies fear us, because Americans fight for good. Heroism is self-sacrifice, it’s not lecturing over others when they disagree. Heroism is grace, not perpetual outrage,” he added.
