“When I think of you now, I think of ‘I am Spartacus.’ I don’t know if that’s the best reflection of you,” said The View’s Meghan McCain.
“I hope people go back and watch that whole clip, because even that was twisted. It’s a tear-down culture. The truth doesn’t even really matter. I hope you go back and watch the Kavanaugh hearings, that was one of my proudest moments,” said Booker.
“That’s the problem with our culture… That’s not how I’m going to run this campaign,” he added.
IT’S OFFICIAL: Senator Cory Booker Announces 2020 Presidential Campaign
Outspoken Senator and anti-Trump crusader Cory Booker officially announced his 2020 presidential campaign Friday; becoming the latest left-wing legislator with the hopes of taking-on President Trump in the months ahead.
“I believe that we can build a country where no one is forgotten, no one is left behind; where parents can put food on the table; where there are good paying jobs with good benefits in every neighborhood; where our criminal justice system keeps us safe, instead of shuffling more children into cages and coffins; where we see the faces of our leaders on television and feel pride, not shame,” said Booker.

“It is not a matter of can we, it’s a matter of do we have the collective will, the American will? I believe we do. Together, we will channel our common pain back into our common purpose. Together, America, we will rise,” added the 49-year-old lawmaker.
'GET A GRIP': GOP Senator Tells Cory Booker to ‘GET A GRIP’ After Anti-Trump Meltdown
Republican Senator John Cornyn implored Cory Booker to settle down after his most recent anti-Trump meltdown this week; urging the liberal legislator to “get a grip” after he called Justice Kavanaugh supporters “complicit in evil.”
Cornyn was speaking on the Senate floor Wednesday when he called-on Booker to calm down after his recent tirade; adding that “everybody’s trying to out do everybody else.”
“I thought that would pretty much take the cake until I saw a report this morning that one of our colleagues across the aisle said that supporting Judge Kavanaugh would make you ‘complicit in evil,’” said Cornyn.
“It’s hard to take statements like that seriously. It’s completely unhinged and detached from any reality […] My advice to some of our friends across the aisle is get a grip, get a grip,” he added.
