Sen. Cory Booker stunned viewers across the country this week when he slammed America’s laws, judges, and legal principles; calling the entire justice system a “cancer on the soul of our country.”
Booker was speaking with ‘The Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah when he viciously tore into the rule-of-law as it exists in America today.
“What angers me is before we even had a Donald Trump elected, we had a cancer on the soul of our country; a criminal justice system that treats you better if you’re rich and guilty and poor and innocent,” Booker told Noah.
“We still had kids in my city- people think Flint, Michigan is some kind of an anomaly, there are a thousand jurisdictions where children have twice the lead blood levels than Flint, Michigan. I can go through the things that were going on before Donald Trump was elected that we seemed to tolerate in our nation, a level of injustice that, to me, is outrageous,” he added.
CORY BOOKER: If You’re Not ‘DEEPLY DISTURBED’ by Trump You Don’t ‘LOVE’ America
Liberal senator and possible 2020 hopeful Cory Booker lashed-out at Trump supporters Wednesday, telling a packed audience if you’re not “deeply disturbed” by the direction of the country then you don’t “love” America.
Booker was speaking at a liberal rally this week when he slammed GOP voters across the country, bizarrely suggesting if the country “hasn’t broken your heart” then you’re not patriotic enough.
"If this country hasn’t broken your heart, you don’t love her enough,” Sen. Booker says at #WeThePeople18 summit.

“If this country hasn’t broken your heart, you don’t love her enough,” Booker said. “If you’re not deeply disturbed by what’s coming, you got to check your own love.”
“Folks are trying to divide us and cut us up, pin us against each other: poor white folks against poor black folks, poor brown folks against poor black folks,” Booker added. “We need to understand this is one nation, indivisible, with one destiny.”

Booker made national headlines Thursday by releasing an email marked “committee confidential” that revealed sensitive material regarding President George W. Bush’s legal response to the 9/11 terror attacks.
“In the email, Kavanaugh, who was working as a lawyer in the Bush White House, said he ‘generally’ favored race-neutral security measures, but said they need to ‘grapple’ with the ‘interim question of what to do before a truly effective and comprehensive race-neutral system is developed and implemented,'” writes Fox News.
