'GET A GRIP': GOP Senator Tells Cory Booker to ‘GET A GRIP’ After Anti-Trump Meltdown
Republican Senator John Cornyn implored Cory Booker to settle down after his most recent anti-Trump meltdown this week; urging the liberal legislator to “get a grip” after he called Justice Kavanaugh supporters “complicit in evil.”
Cornyn was speaking on the Senate floor Wednesday when he called-on Booker to calm down after his recent tirade; adding that “everybody’s trying to out do everybody else.”
“I thought that would pretty much take the cake until I saw a report this morning that one of our colleagues across the aisle said that supporting Judge Kavanaugh would make you ‘complicit in evil,’” said Cornyn.
“It’s hard to take statements like that seriously. It’s completely unhinged and detached from any reality […] My advice to some of our friends across the aisle is get a grip, get a grip,” he added.

“Now, if you’re going to be born on the planet earth, the United States of America -if you’re looking to get out of poverty- is not going to be the top country if you’re going to be born poor to get out,” said Booker.
“That’s actually an assault on the very idea of the American Dream. We need to be the party of reclaiming the Dream,” he added.
