Progressive Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from her trip to Miami where she was seen partying maskless in crowds during an omicron surge. The congresswoman is resting up at home and encouraging Americans to get their booster shots. She shared an official announcement on Twitter:
“Rep. Ocasio-Cortez Tests Positive for COVID-19.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the office of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez released the following statement:
“Representative Ocasio-Cortez has received a positive test result for COVID-19. She is experiencing symptoms and recovering at home. The Congresswoman received her booster shot this Fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.”
