CONCHA: 'Anti-Israel Rhetoric Finally Brings an Ivy League Reckoning'

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.16.23

In his latest op-ed for The Messenger, Joe Concha discusses the “stunningly grotesque sentiment” expressed in a letter signed by 34 pro-Palestinian student groups at Harvard University —and the swift reaction from some CEOs vowing never to hire students who signed onto the letter.

From The Messenger:

“We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence,” read the letter signed by 34 student groups at Harvard University. “The apartheid regime is the only one to blame.”

This stunningly grotesque sentiment came after Hamas terrorists massacred whole villages, allegedly beheaded some childrenkidnapped, tortured and raped women and, overall, killed more than 1,000 Israelis in the most horrific attacks one could imagine in their worst nightmares. But, those students were saying, Israelis brought this hell upon themselves and deserved what they got.

As a result, Bill Ackman, a hedge fund billionaire and founder of Pershing Square Capital Management, rightly called on Wall Street CEOs to never hire any student who signed off on the letter.

“If you were managing a business, would you hire someone who blamed the despicable violent acts of a terrorist group on the victims?” Ackman wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday. “I don’t think so.”

Good for Ackman for getting the ball rolling, as other CEOs have agreed to a blacklist.

How did we get to a point where unthinkable terror attacks could be carried out and a sizable number of Ivy League-educated students would blame the victims? In Harvard’s case, perhaps its hiring practices should be called into question — because, when it comes to true diversity of thought and ideas and worldview, Harvard deserves an F-minus after looking at the ideological breakdown of its professors.
