Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio raised eyebrows across Miami’s Cuban population Thursday night; screaming a chant made famous by Che Guevara and Fidel Castro during the communist revolution.
“New York City mayor and presidential candidate Bill de Blasio shouted a Spanish slogan associated with Cuba’s Communist revolution at a rally Thursday, drawing criticism in a city heavily influenced by exiles who fled Fidel Castro’s rule,” reports the Associated Press.
“Hasta la Victoria, siempre!” yelled de Blasio after the Democratic debate; a slogan which translates to ‘Until Victory, Always!’

“This is completely unacceptable! How can anyone wanting to be the leader of the free world quote a murderous guerrilla – in Miami no less!” said a Florida state senator. “A community filled with his victims! #DeleteYourCampaign.”
“In case there was any doubt about the Democrats running for President embracing socialism, @BilldeBlasio is in Miami quoting…Che Guevara,” added Florida Senator Rick Scott.
De Blasio quietly apologized a short time later, saying he “did not know the phrase I used in Miami today was associated with Che Guevara & I did not mean to offend anyone who heard it that way.”
“I certainly apologize for not understanding that history. I only meant it as a literal message to the striking airport workers that I believed they would be victorious in their strike,” he added.
An NYPD police union unloaded on NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio following Wednesday night’s first Democratic debate; saying the Big Apple Boss was “directly” responsible for the “demonization of cops” across the five boroughs.
“History repeats itself. @BilldeBlasio said he wants to bring cops and community together. Ask any cop on the street what impact his divisive rhetoric has had #DemDebate https://twitter.com/billdeblasio/status/1144068770249531392 …,” posted the official Twitter account of the New York City Police Benevolent Association.
“We’re working hard to get guns off the street @BilldeBlasio. You must have been too busy to go to the last Compsat meeting because SHOOTINGS ARE UP 9.7%. ‘Safest Big City’ in the country doesn’t feel that way to many especially in Brooklyn,” added the PBA.
“The hostile and dangerous environment we now face on the street is a direct result of demonization of cops by de Blasio and other elected officials,” concluded the statement.

De Blasio unveiled new NYPD guidelines last week that made it more difficult for police officers to arrest NYC students who commit “low-level crimes.”
“Police will stop arresting or summonsing Big Apple students ‘whenever possible’ for a host of crimes — such as boozing, smoking pot and vandalism — in city schools, as part of a sweeping change to NYPD policy set to be announced Thursday, according to a report,” reports the New York Post.
“Rowdy pupils will also skate on spitting, harassment, trespassing and other ‘low-level offenses’ as long as school administrators can ‘safely’ handle the incidents,” adds the newspaper.
“The welfare of these students should be the city’s top priority,” said Maria Henderson, a spokeswoman for City Council Education Committee Chair Mark Treyger. “We should be focused on supporting them and not punitive disciplinary measures.”
BUSTED: NYC Mayor Reportedly Used $3M NYPD 'Counter-Terror' Jet to Fly Home from Vacation
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio found himself in hot water this week after he reportedly used a $3 million “counter-terrorism” government plane to fly home from a personal vacation in Canada.
According to the NY Post, de Blasio used the jet to fly from Quebec back to the Big Apple where he was set to deliver in address in the Bronx; returning to the Canadian province later that day.
“NYPD is transporting him in their plane,” de Blasio spokesman Eric Phillips told the Post.
“It is very unusual to go on an international flight to go pick up the mayor,” said an inside source close to the police department. “I think it’s excessive, because that wasn’t what that plane was designed to do. It’s designed for counterterrorism measures. To go to Canada to get the mayor? It’s excessive.”
“Neither the NYPD nor the Mayor’s Office would say who decided to use the plane, how much the trip cost taxpayers or why the mayor didn’t take a commercial flight — which is about $300 round-trip,” writes the Post.

CITY OF RAGE: De Blasio Says Anti-Semitism -UP 90% in NYC- is Mostly a ‘Right-Wing Movement’
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio weighed-in Wednesday on his city’s recent spike in hate crimes across all five boroughs; calling anti-Semitism a strictly “right-wing movement.”
“Mayor Bill de Blasio said Tuesday that anti-Semitism is a ‘right-wing movement’ — while rejecting a claim that the left plays any role in discriminating against Jews,” reports the NY Post.
“I think the ideological movement that is anti-Semitic is the right-wing movement,” said De Blasio in Brooklyn Wednesday. “I want to be very, very clear, the violent threat, the threat that is ideological is very much from the right.”

“Hate crimes against all minority groups are up 64% compared to this time last year. Anti-Semitic incidents have spiked by 90%,” adds the Post.
“I don’t agree with the mayor,” said a Brooklyn Democrat. “I have not seen any white supremacists coming in here committing these hate crimes.”
Far-left politicians -including Rep. Ilhan Omar and others- raised national headlines earlier this year when they made a series of anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli remarks; saying the Jewish State has “hypnotized the world.”
Multiple anti-Semitic attacks in Brooklyn, New York were caught on tape weeks ago; raising serious new concerns over safety and security for the city’s Jewish population.
“Just received a report that a Hasidic father & son were beaten up in Williamsburg this past Friday night for no other reason than being Jewish. Police report has been filed. Here’s footage of the four violent suspects behind the attack – help @NYPDDetectives find them!” posted Dov Hikind, a former NY Assemblyman from Brooklyn.

“It’s shocking but not surprising that such violent hate crimes are being committed against Jews (yesterday in Bklyn) just as antisemitism is being mainstreamed. This attack resembles Nazi Germany where antisemites attacked Jews with glee. We won’t tolerate it!” he added.

The largest single spike in antisemitic hate crimes across the country is in NYC (72%) – and yet the media reports very little on it? Why? Sadly they don’t because in these cases it’s not a white supremacist doing the attacking and that doesn’t fit their narrative.
