Disgraced former FBI boss James Comey weighed-in on the Inspector General’s Russia probe Monday; saying the document simply shows “Good people trying to protect America.”
“So it was all lies. No treason. No spying on the campaign. No tapping Trumps wires. It was just good people trying to protect America,” claims Comey.

“For two years, the president of the United States and his followers have loudly declared that the FBI acted unlawfully in conducting a counterintelligence investigation of Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential campaign,” writes Comey in the Washington Post.
“They repeatedly told the American people that the FBI had done all sorts of bad things, such as tapping Donald Trump’s wires during the campaign, opening an investigation without adequate cause, with the intent to damage Trump, and inserting secret informants into the Trump campaign,” he adds.

BOMBSHELL REPORT: Steele Admitted ‘Trump Dossier’ Intended to ‘Air Dirt’ on Trump Before Election Day
The latest explosive report from John Solomon is shedding new light on the shady background of the now-debunked ‘Trump Dossier,’ with documents revealing Christopher Steele was given until Election Day to “air dirt” on Donald Trump.
“Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec’s written account of her Oct. 11, 2016, meeting with FBI informant Christopher Steele shows the Hillary Clinton campaign-funded British intelligence operative admitted that his research was political and facing an Election Day deadline,” writes The Hill’s John Solomon.
“And that confession occurred 10 days before the FBI used Steele’s now-discredited dossier to justify securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and the campaign’s ties to Russia,” he adds.

COMEY’S REVENGE: Former FBI Chief Claims Memo ‘DESTROYED TRUST’ with Intel Community
Former Director of the FBI James Comey weighed-in on the controversial FISA memo released by the House Intelligence Committee Friday afternoon, blasting the document as “dishonest and misleading” and falsely claiming it “exposed” a classified investigation.
The former bureau chief -who was fired by President Trump last year for his botched investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server- posted his comments on social media within minutes of the document’s disclosure.
“That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what? DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs,” Comey tweeted.

While Comey may found the memo’s revelations “boring,” the explosive document shows the FBI and Department of Justice used the debunked ‘Trump Dossier’ to secure FISA court warrants against “at least one member” of the Trump campaign during the run-up to the 2016 election.
