Fox News’ Peter Doocy challenged White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over the Congressman who was carjacked in Washington D.C. during Tuesday’s press briefing.
Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar (D) was carjacked in the nation’s capital on Monday night after three men with guns threatened him outside his residence in Washington, DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood.
“If a Member of Congress is not safe on the streets of the nation’s capital, who is?” Doocy asked KJP.
She immediately pivoted to blaming Republicans.
"If a Member of Congress is not safe on the streets of the nation's capital, who is?"

Doocy followed up, asking how KJP can blame Republicans when Democrats run D.C.
"How are you gonna blame Republicans for [the carjacking of a Democrat congressman]? Isn't D.C. run by a bunch of Democrats?"

Doocy also asked if President Biden would be comfortable with someone parking his Corvette on the street in Southeast D.C.
"If President Biden's policies are helping bring crime down, would he be comfortable with somebody borrowing his Corvette and parking it on the street overnight in southeast D.C.?"
