A resurfaced clip from a 1995 Bill Clinton radio address shows the former president pledging to triple deportations of illegal immigrants, stating they should be removed “whether they’re guilty or innocent of crimes” to enforce immigration laws.
The clip was shared widely on social media on Monday after Fox News reported on it.
“Whether they’re guilty or innocent of crimes, they are still here illegally and should be sent out of the country… Our plan will triple the number of deportable aliens,” Clinton says in the clip.
