CHRISTMAS WISHES: Hillary Posts Holiday Message of Herself Inside the White House

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.26.18

Twice-failed presidential candidate and possible 2020 contender Hillary Clinton posted her annual Christmas message on social media Tuesday; wishing everyone a happy holiday season along a picture of herself inside the White House.

“Merry Christmas to everyone celebrating today!” posted Clinton on social media; posing with former President Bill Clinton and their daughter Chelsea.

The picture sparks new speculation of Clinton mounting another bid for the White House in the coming months. Just weeks ago, the former Secretary of State refused to say whether she plans to take on Trump in 2020; saying “I’d like to be president.”

HILLARY 2020? Insider Says Clinton 'Unlikely' to Run Again But 'Gets the Most Votes'

Leading Democratic strategist James Carville raised eyebrows across Washington this week, publicly hinting Hillary Clinton may be eyeing an “unlikely” third run for the White House in 2020.

According to the Hill, Carville said it was “unlikely” the former Secretary of State would launch another campaign to take the Oval Office, but added she’s never “run an election where she didn’t get the most votes.”

“My guess is, it’s not really in her plans right now,” said the longtime Clinton insider “She didn’t show any indication that she wants to run for president again. She’s run twice, and it’s an exhaustive thing.”

“I think I’ve counted something like 16 times in a row that a Clinton has run — either her or him — they’ve always gotten the most votes, so there’s something to be said for that,” he added.

Clinton herself hinted at a possible run last October, telling a British reporter “As we watch Trump’s support shrink, that people will say, ‘Well, what she said was right, and now where do we go from here?’”

A THIRD TIME? Top Clinton Aide Says Hillary May Run in 2020

A former Hillary Clinton campaign staffer raised eyebrows throughout the Democratic Party this week; suggesting the former Secretary of State may be mulling a potential rematch against President Trump in the 2020 race for the White House.

According to The Week, Philippe Reines -a senior aide dating back to 2002 and top advisor at the State Department- refused to rule out Hillary’s potential third run for the Oval Office; claiming no other Democrat has “anywhere near a base of 32 million people.”

“The party, he feels, shouldn’t dismiss her as a failed candidate because she’s ‘smarter’ and ‘tougher’ than most, and she ‘could raise money easier than most,’” adds the author.

“Publicly, Clinton has said she will not run again, but Reines doesn’t sound so sure she’ll keep her word on that. Politico explored Clinton’s careful re-entry into the political arena, noting that she’s going on tour with former President Bill Clinton this fall and has reportedly even called up journalists who cover the White House to put out ‘the occasional feeler,’” writes The Week.
