America may not be buying Chuck’s bull anymore.
During an appearance on MS NOW this week, New York Senator and minority leader Chuck Schumer was confronted with a Pew research poll that show 71% of Democrats support voter ID laws.
Chuck retaliated by playing the hits.
“It’s Jim Crow 2.0,” Schumer said. “I called it Jim Crow 2.0, and the right went nuts all over the internet — that’s how you know it’s true. What they’re trying to do here is the same thing that was done in the South for decades to prevent people of color from voting.”
Sure, Chuck. Sure.
Schumer says the SAVE Act will not get a “single democratic vote in the Senate.”
