Cameras caught a horrific car accident in Brooklyn on Monday that killed two and injured five as an out-of-control car leaped over a curb and spiraled into pedestrians.
From The New York Post:
The wreck happened just before 1 p.m. when a 49-year-old man lost control of his car on 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst and apparently blew through a red light before ramming into another vehicle at the intersection of 64th Street, cops said.
Surveillance footage shows the two cars colliding and spinning out of control, with one barreling onto the sidewalk and another down the street.
Car parts were littered across the pavement and sidewalk as first responders rushed to get the victims loaded into ambulances, additional footage from the aftermath shows.
Two people were rushed to Maimonides Hospital but could not be saved, cops said.
