Kamala Harris delivered a profanity-laced broadside against the Trump administration Thursday night, capping off a meandering critique of the Iran war by shouting “bulls—t!” to cheers from a Las Vegas crowd.
The former vice president repeatedly stumbled through her criticism of the conflict before finally blurting out the expletive as audience members urged her on.
“When you look at this war in Iran, which the American people do not want, which was not authorized by…should not have been initiated… he talked about obliterating… it’s all just…” Harris said before pausing dramatically.
“Bulls—t!” she shouted, prompting applause and laughter from supporters.
“You made me do that! I promised I’m not going to curse in public anymore,” Harris added before breaking into laughter and continuing her remarks.
The moment quickly lit up social media, with critics accusing Harris of trying to compensate for shaky messaging with theatrics and profanity.
Harris then pivoted into a broader attack on President Donald Trump’s handling of the economy and foreign policy.
“But what is happening though, is, is… we are not only losing our authority, we are literally engaged where we are talking billions of dollars,” she said.
“Where we’re talking about gas prices going up, where we’re talking about the American people suffering. And for what?”
The appearance comes as Harris ramps up travel across the country to help Democrats ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, where the party faces an uphill battle to regain control of Congress.
It also fuels mounting speculation that Harris is positioning herself for another White House run in 2028 following her crushing defeat to President Trump in the 2024 election.
