Pete’s in East Palestine —and he’s dropping some whoppers.
During a press event in East Palestine on Thursday, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg made more than a few eyebrow-raising claims about his performance and the Biden Administration.
Pete misrepresented the speed at which the tragedy was addressed.

He was also questioned about his first tweet on the train derailment —one and a half weeks after the incident.
"Your first tweet…a week and a half after the accident happened. In hindsight, was that waiting too long to express anything hours after you had addressed the makeup of work crews on highway construction projects?"

Then, Buttigieg talked some nonsense about balancing his desires and “the norm.”
