From Fox News:
A shooting at a rail yard in San Jose, California, early Wednesday left eight people dead, not including the suspect, who was also declared deceased after taking his own life, authorities confirmed.
The suspect was identified as Samuel Cassidy, who was an employee at the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), where the incident took place, according to authorities.
No motive is known for the shooting at this time.
In Washington, D.C., principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the White House will continue to stay in close contact with local officials in San Jose, before using the shooting as an opportunity to call for Congress to strengthen background checks.
“The White House is monitoring the situation, and our hearts go out to the victims and their families,” Jean-Pierre said. “We still don’t have all the details, but what is clear, as the president has said, is that we’re are suffering from an epidemic of gun violence in this country, both in mass shootings and in the lives that are being taken in daily gun violence that doesn’t make national headlines.”
Deputies responded to multiple 911 calls around 6:30 a.m. local time about an “an active shooter” situation unfolding at a Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) facility located in the area of 100 W. Younger Ave in San Jose, Calif. VTA Chair Gel Hendricks confirmed that the shooting took place outside in the yard, not in the control center. He said service would be suspended after the incident.
Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputies, fire personnel and San Jose Police responded to the initial shooting in the area of Younger Avenue and San Pedro Street.

BAD EDUCATION: Private Emails Show ANTI-TRUMP Bias Among High School Teachers
Newly released emails exchanged between a group of teachers in Massachusetts reveal a stunning level of anti-Trump bias throughout the school, with educators refusing to conceal their political agenda to students and parents.
According to Fox News, teachers at the Newton North High School were ordered by district officials to help educate their students on “different perspectives” on issues as diverse as gun control, immigration, and free speech.
Stunning emails between the staff show they flat-out refused to do so.
“Personally, I’m finding it really difficult in the current climate to teach kids to appreciate other perspectives. … [T]he ‘other viewpoint’ might not really be an argument ‘about which reasonable people can disagree’ and might not lead to any kind of intellectual, policy debate; it might just be blatantly racist,” wrote one educator.
“I am concerned that the call for ‘objectivity’ may just inadvertently become the most effective destructive weapon against social justice,” added another.
Local parents are calling on the teachers to be “re-educated” and comply with the principles instruction to teach alternative perspectives.

BLOODY BRITAIN: Three Teenagers SHOT, One DEAD in UK Capital
The escalating crime wave sweeping the UK capital continued over the weekend; with three teenagers shot as London’s murder rate soars and violence swirls out of control.
According to Yahoo News, two teenagers were gunned down in “broad daylight” in the British capital, just a day after another young man was shot and killed.
The victims were between the ages of 13 and 17 years-old.
“No firearm has been recovered and there have been no arrests, with officers investigating whether the incidents were linked,” writes Yahoo. “The incident came just hours after a 17-year-old boy was shot in Southwark, south London, on Saturday evening and died at the scene.”
The UK capital’s stunning crime wave made international headlines last month when Britain’s largest city saw a murder rate higher than New York City for the first time in recorded history.
Mayor Sadiq Khan has repeatedly called for a crackdown on knives and other weapons, but the escalating use of firearms raises new security concerns throughout the UK where guns are effectively banned from the public.
