BREAKING: Newly Obtained Memo Details Rosenstein’s Plot to ‘Wear a Recording Device’ to Tape Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.23.19

Recently released memos obtained by Judicial Watch reveal new details of Rod Rosenstein’s proposal to “wear a recording device” and covertly tape President Trump during closed-door meetings regarding James Comey.

“Judicial Watch announced today it obtained a two-page memo, dated May 16, 2017, by then-Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe detailing how then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein proposed wearing a wire into the Oval Office ‘to collect additional evidence on the president’s true intentions.’ McCabe writes that Rosenstein said he thought it was possible because ‘he was not searched when he entered the White House,’” reports Judicial Watch.

“As our conversation continued the DAG proposed that he could potentially wear a recording device into the Oval Office to collect additional evidence on the President’s true intentions. He said he thought this might be possible because he was not searched when he entered the White House. I told him that I would discuss the opportunity with my investigative team and get back to him,” states the memo written by Andrew McCabe. “We discussed the issue of appointing a Special Counsel to oversee the FBI’s Russia investigation. The DAG said he has two candidates ready, one of whom could start immediately.”

“This incredible memo details the conflicted and conniving coup effort against President Trump,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It is astonishing and shocking McCabe thought he could have the FBI conduct a ‘counterintelligence’ operation on the president and Rosenstein thought it would be appropriate to wear a wire to secretly record President Trump in the Oval Office. That the DOJ and FBI sat on this smoking gun for a year shows the need for urgent housecleaning at those agencies.”

BREAKING: Rosenstein Indicts 12 RUSSIAN AGENTS for ‘Hacking’ 2016 Election

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.13.18

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced Friday that the Department of Justice has indicted an additional 12 Russian agents for “hacking” the 2016 presidential race for the White House.

“A federal grand jury has indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers for allegedly hacking the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign during the 2016 election,” writes Fox News. “All 12 are members of GRU, the Russian intelligence agency.”

Rosenstein’s announcement comes as President Trump wraps up his two-day visit with British Prime Minister Theresa May and Queen Elizabeth II, heading to Helsinki next week to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The indictments follow a previous string of charges earlier this year when the DOJ accused 13 Russian agents and three foreign companies of meddling in the 2016 election.

COLLUSION DELUSION: House Committee to Subpoena Kushner, Sessions, Flynn, Rosenstein, MORE

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.09.19

House Judiciary Chair Jerrold Nadler unveiled his plan this week to issue dozens of subpoenas to those involved in Robert Mueller’s “No Collusion” final report; demanding Jeff Sessions, Michael Flynn, and Jared Kushner testify before Congress.

“House Judiciary Committee Democrats announced Tuesday that they plan to authorize subpoenas later this week for a dozen individuals connected to President Trump as part of the panel’s escalating probe into obstruction of justice, public corruption and other alleged abuses by the president,” reports Fox News.

“The individuals subject to fresh subpoena are: Sessions; Rosenstein; Kushner; former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn; former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Rick Dearborn; former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly; former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski; former White House aide Rob Porter; publisher of the National Enquirer David Pecker and chief content officer Dylan Howard; former Stormy Daniels lawyer Keith Davidson; and assistant attorney general for the criminal division Joseph Hunt,” adds Fox.

Republican Rep. Doug Collins slammed Nadler’s request, calling the move an attempt to “relitigate” the Mueller report.

“Today’s latest effort to relitigate the special counsel’s investigation remains unimpressive and unproductive. Mr. Mueller’s team issued more than 2,800 subpoenas before concluding that no Americans conspired with Russia. Even if Chairman Nadler still believes subpoenas are conversation starters, it’s hard to imagine this handful of subpoenas will do anything but reinforce the principal conclusions we’ve been able to read about for months,” Collins said in a statement.

“I remain open to reaching a reasonable accommodation and will not issue subpoenas if the information we are seeking is voluntarily provided,” Nadler said Tuesday. “We will get answers one way or the other.”
