BRANDING BACKFIRE: Hakeem Jeffries Labels Trump 'Captain Chaos' — and Conservatives on X Love It [WATCH]

Talk about your all-time backfires…

House Minority Rep. Hakeem Jeffries tried to slap a new nickname on President Donald Trump this week — but it didn’t land exactly as he’d hoped. Conservatives on X immediately ran with the nickname, saying it actually sounds pretty cool.

“Captain Chaos and extreme MAGA Republicans spent last year promising to lower the high costs of living and running from Project 2025 as if it didn’t exist,” Jeffries said in a video on X.

But, hey … “Captain Chaos” sounds pretty cool, actually, according to X users.

“Captain Chaos actually sounds so cool. Trump is causing chaos for bureaucrats and the swamp. They’re all on edge and feel confused and disoriented. Exactly what we elected him to do!” Chaya Raichik (aka Libs of TikTok) posted on X.

“I voted for Captain Chaos,” said another user.

“Does he realize how loveable Captain Chaos is?” account No More Mean Tweets said, referencing Dom Deluise’s character from the movie The Cannonball Run.

“I think he could use some tips from [Donald Trump] on coming up with good nicknames,” the Leftism account shared on X.
