BORDER CZAR HOMAN: 'ICE is Arresting Public Safety Threats Every Day' [WATCH]

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.13.25

The Trump 2.0 is securing the border and our streets.

According to Fox News border correspondent Bill Melugin, during Donald Trump’s first 50 days in office, ICE has made 32,809 arrests of illegal aliens in the interior of the US — that almost matches all of Joe Biden’s ICE interior arrests in FY 2024, which were about 33,300.

Of the roughly 33,000 ICE arrests under Trump so far:

14,111 are convicted criminals
9,980 have pending charges
8,000 + have immigration violations (being in US illegally)

On Wednesday night’s Hannity, Border Czar Tom Homan discussed his efforts to secure the border and Democrat efforts to thwart those efforts.

Homan was in Albany on Wednesday to rail against Gov. Kathy Hochul’s sanctuary status laws; “I’m calling her out for her sanctuary policies,” Homan said.

“God bless the great men and women of ICE who are putting their lives on the line every day … you have a governor that doesn’t share DMV data with us to help us target these people and she’s going to notify that we’re doing operations against them?!” Homan said.

Homan said Hochul wants to fire Big Apple Mayor Eric Adams for working with ICE.

“The American people have demanded we take action — they gave President Trumo a mandate and he’s going to keep his promise to the American people,” Homan said.

“ICE is arresting public safety threats every day — the worst of the worst,” Homan continued. “Child molestors, rapist, robbers, TDA members, MS-13 members — and for any elected official that’s going to push back on us for taking public safety threats out of their communities, they don’t earn the position they’re sitting in.”
