Bongino weighs in on Democrats’ destruction.
Fox News contributor, podcast host, and former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino stopped by Hannity Monday night to give his take on Democrats refusing to fund DHS — even as airports fall into chaos and Iran sleeper cells are looking for ways to attack the U.S.
Hannity asked Bongino why the Democrats would do this.
“Because they like to make people hurt,” Bongino said. “Why do Democrats hurt the American people, often using the same government as a benevolent force in people’s lives as a weapon against them? The answer: because they want to … they’re enjoying every bit of this.”
“Keep in mind, the president has already made a number of concessions on the issue because he’s a deal maker and he has to make deals — you can’t overcome a super majority in the Senate right now, so he has to make deals,” Bongino added.
“The Democrats have no plan to open this up.”
“Remember the last shutdown? It was over Obamacare that they told you it would make healthcare cheaper. Then they shut down the government because they needed more taxpayer money to pay for the Obamacare they said would be cheaper! And did anyone in the media cover that? No.”
