FBI agents raided the Maryland home of former National Security Advisor John Bolton on Friday morning, Fox News Digital has learned.
Agents were later seen at Bolton’s Washington, D.C., office carrying out boxes, while Bolton himself was spotted in the lobby.
The searches are tied to concerns Bolton may still possess classified documents, according to a source. Bolton, who served as President Donald Trump’s national security advisor from 2018 to 2019, has not been taken into custody.
Federal agents entered Bolton’s Bethesda residence around 7 a.m. as part of an investigation ordered by FBI Director Kash Patel, who posted minutes later on X: “NO ONE is above the law… @FBI agents on mission.”
