BOEBERT'S ‘HUNTER ACT’: ‘Tax Dollars Shouldn’t Fund The Death & Destruction of Crack Addicts’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.11.22

Reps Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Dan Bishop (R-NC) are just saying no to drug paraphernalia handouts from the federal government.

“Congressman Bishop and I are standing up and saying, heck no,” Boebert said. “Our tax dollars should not be funding the death and destruction of crack addicts. Democrats are always putting the American taxpayer last and Republicans just want to give people in need a good job. Democrats want to give them crack pipes.”

The Reps have introduced the Halting the Use of Narcotics Through Effective Recovery Act, or HUNTER Act, in reference to Hunter Biden, who has struggled with drug addiction.

“I like the HUNTER Act,” Boebert said in an interview, “because it was a better acronym than Stop Paying to Subsidize Biden’s Son’s Drug Addiction act. That didn’t really flow. I think tax dollars have been on the hook for Hunter’s addictions long enough.”

Boebert shared the news on Twitter:

“The federal government should NEVER be funding crack pipes with our hard-earned tax dollars. That’s why I’ve just introduced the HUNTER Act with @RepDanBishop. Enough craziness!”
