BILL’S GREATEST HITS: Watch De Blasio Praise 'Peaceful Protesters' as They Destroy New York City

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.03.20

Beleaguered New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio repeatedly praised violent protesters this week; ignoring non-stop coverage of rioters destroying the Big Apple despite curfews and a massive police presence.

“These protesters are expressing their views, they’re expressing their frustration, their pain, their anger, their deep desire for change!” said de Blasio as video showed rioters breaking into an ATM.

“What we saw was overwhelming peaceful! If you talk about the reality of the full day, we saw more and more peaceful demonstrators establishing a different tone, a different reality!” he added.

“Any situation where an officer does something offensive and inappropriate, there must be an immediate investigation, there must be an immediate penalty!” concluded the Mayor.

DE BLASIO’S NYC: Looters Smash Stores in Manhattan, Flee in $500,000 Rolls Royce Before Cops Arrive

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.03.20

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio struggled to contain widespread violence and looting in all five boroughs this week, with new footage surfacing on social media showing criminals fleeing the scene of the crime in what one user claims is a “$500,000 Rolls Royce.”

“Looters are literally pulling up in nice cars and cleaning out stores in #Soho. What #Curfew?” posted a producer from NBC News.

“An NBC producer filmed men pulling up luxury cars before they appeared to ransack stores in Manhattan during a fifth night of rioting after the killing of George Floyd. Keith Feldman posted a video on Twitter of men getting out of expensive cars, one of which was claimed to be a $500,000 Rolls Royce,” reports the Daily Mail.

Vandals and looters also struck stores in mid-town Manhattan and Brooklyn despite De Blasio’s curfew.

CHAOS NYC: Rioters Loot Manhattan Stores, De Blasio Describes Situation as ‘Limited Protest Activity’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.01.20

Rioters smashed windows and looted stores in Manhattan late Sunday night after assembling for citywide protests following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis; a situation Mayor Bill de Blasio described as “limited protest activity.”

“Fox News crews on the scene in SoHo reported hundreds of people stealing from luxury stores – including Chanel and Dior – for hours on Sunday night going into the early hours of Monday morning. The looters were seen piling shoplifted merchandise into vehicles while others rode off with the merchandise in black garbage bags balanced on CitiBikes,” reports Fox news.

“Most of the day we had large crowds throughout the city in multiple boroughs [on Sunday]. But when it got dark, things changed and it changed rapidly,” Shea said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” on Monday morning. “We anticipated it, but you saw large groups of people had no inclination to all this protest once it got dark, particularly in the area of SoHo between Canal and West Broadway. We had a number of stores broken into.”
