Former Vice President Joe Biden is continuing his war against the American energy industry in the final weeks before the 2020 election; routinely calling for an end to fossil fuels, fracking, and other methods that have allowed the United States to become the biggest energy producer in the world.
“No, no. We would work it out. We would make sure it’s eliminated and no more subsidies for either one of those,” said Biden on fracking and fossil fuels in July.
“I guarantee you, we’re going to end fossil fuel,” he said a few months earlier. “No more, no new fracking… I’d gradually move away from fracking.”
“I think it’s critically important, on day one, that we end any fossil fuel leases on public lands,” proclaimed Senator Kamala Harris in September 2019.
“They want to do the same thing that I want to do. They want to phase out fossil fuels and we’re gong to phase out fossil fuels,” said the former Vice President in January.

BIDEN IN IOWA: I’ve Spent a Lot of Time with South Korea’s Kim Jong Un
Former Vice President Joe Biden continued his gaffe-laden campaign tour in Iowa over the weekend; bizarrely stating he’s “spent a lot of time” with “Kim Jong Un in South Korea.”
“You see what’s happening all around the world with his embrace of dictators. Folks like Putin, Kim Jong Un in South Korea and the way he talks about America, the way he talks about our allies,” said Biden.
“I know them. Putin has no illusions about whether I know him or not. Kim Jong Un has no illusions about whether I know him or not… I’ve spent a lot of time with these folks, they know,” he added.

BIDEN IN CAROLINA: ‘My Name is Joe Biden, I’m a Democratic Candidate for the United States Senate’
Former Vice President Joe Biden continued his gaffe-ridden campaign in South Carolina this week; bizarrely telling the crowd he’s running for the United States Senate.
“My name is Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate. Look me over, if you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden,” he told supporters just days before the South Carolina primary.
Biden made similar comments earlier this month, delivering a speech in Nevada where he called for innovative solutions like they’ve implemented “Here in California.”
“The new technologies are capable of doing so much more. For example, there’s no reason why -at our ports- we don’t have solar capacity to be able to make sure we save a lot of energy, create a lot of new jobs for people out there, just like here in California… I mean… here in Nevada,” said Biden.
