While delivering remarks during an arrival ceremony for Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Wednesday, President Biden flubbed one of the most memorable quotes in U.S. history.
“Nearly 55 years ago, American astronauts took humanity’s first step on the moon. They sent a message forever etched in history,” Biden said before flubbing the quote.
“Quote, ‘That’s one small step for man, one giant step for mankind.”
The actual quote says “one giant leap for mankind.”
