Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed Rep. Ilhan Omar during his address at the annual AIPAC conference this week; saying Americans “love Israel” not because of money, but “because they share our values.”
“Take it from this Benjamin: It’s not about the Benjamins!” said the staunch Trump ally. “The reason Americans love Israel is not because they want our money, it’s because they share our values.”
“It’s because America and Israel share a love of freedom and democracy,” he told the packed audience.
Rep. Ilhan Omar was harshly rebuked earlier this year after she claimed American politicians were all “about the Benjamins,” suggesting they support the world’s only Jewish State because of secret campaign contributions.
BETO SLAMS BIBI: O’Rourke Trashes Israel’s Netanyahu, Says He's 'Sided with Racists'
Former Texas Congressman and 2020 presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke slammed Israel’s Prime Minister Wednesday; saying the Middle East peace process has largely failed because Benjamin Netanyahu has “openly sided with racists.”
O’Rourke was speaking at a campaign event in New Hampshire this week when he lashed-out at America’s closest ally in the region.
“Right now we don’t have the best negotiating partners on either side. We have a prime minister in Israel who has openly sided with racists,” said Beto.
“On the Palestinian side, we have an ineffectual leader. Mahmoud Abbas has not been very effective in bringing his side to the table,” he added.

ISRAEL UNLEASHED: Netanyahu Strikes Militant Bases in Gaza After Mortar Attack
Israeli Defense Forces struck militant bases in the Gaza Strip Tuesday following a mortar attack on Israeli citizens earlier in the day; raising new fears of a regional conflict between the Jewish State and Iranian-backed fighters operating in the area.
According to Yahoo News, Netanyahu ordered the strike after a “barrage” of at least 28 mortar shells were fired towards Israel.
Israeli officials confirmed the mortars were intercepted by air defense systems and no injuries were reported.
“Israel takes a grave view of the attacks on it and its communities by Hamas and Islamic Jihad from the Gaza Strip,” Netanyahu said. “The [Israeli Defense Forces] will respond to these attacks powerfully.”
Within minutes of the statement’s release, the IDF destroyed at least one militant base operated by Hamas and four bases controlled by Islamic Jihad, a similar terror organization in Gaza.
“The Israeli occupation bears full responsibility for any upcoming escalation,” said a spokesperson for Hamas.
