Bernie Sanders weighed-in Tuesday on Hurricane Dorian hours before the storm makes landfall in the United States; asserting the Category 2 hurricane “has everything to do with climate change.”

Recently released satellite images are showing the extent of Hurricane Dorian’s impact on the Bahamas; revealing widespread flooding that has vast sections of the archipelago under water.
“Catastrophic Hurricane Dorian practically parked itself over Grand Bahama Island and now a striking satellite image of the Island shows vast areas of the island under water after Dorian passed through the region on Monday,” reports CBS Miami. “Grand Bahama Island was still in the path of Hurricane Dorian on Tuesday and the area continues to endure devastating weather conditions produced by the hurricane’s eyewall, according to the National Hurricane Center.”
Hurricane Dorian was downgraded to a Category 2 storm Tuesday afternoon; hovering over the Bahamas for more than 36 hours as it slowly makes its way towards the Atlantic coast of the United States.
“Hurricane Dorian, the monster of a storm that’s pummeled parts of the Bahamas for the past 36 hours, has been downgraded to a Category 2 storm as it finally starts to inch away from Grand Bahama — but the storm is showing signs it’s growing before taking aim at the Southeast,” reports Fox News.
Dorian is currently 100 miles east of West Palm Beach, Florida traveling at 2mph.
