BERNIE: ‘I Am Prepared to Put a Hold On This Bill Until Stronger Conditions Are Imposed’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.25.20

Senator Bernie Sanders raised new objections over the bipartisan Coronavirus relief package this week; saying he was prepared to “put a hold” on any legislation that does not include new protection for American workers.

“Unless Republican Senators drop their objections to the coronavirus legislation, I am prepared to put a hold on this bill until stronger conditions are imposed on the $500 billion corporate welfare fund,” posted Sanders on social media.

Former Vice President Joe Biden received the backing of a major American union this week; further advancing his march towards the Democratic nomination as Bernie Sanders refuses to concede the race.

“AFSCME, a union of 1.4 million public service workers nationwide, has endorsed former Vice President @JoeBiden for President. The endorsement was made by a unanimous vote of the union’s 35-member International Executive Board,” posted the union on social media.

“It’s not for me to tell him to drop out,” said Biden earlier this week. “It’s up to Bernie to do what he wants to do.”

“If there is a debate in April, he plans to be there,” the Sanders campaign confirmed to Fox News.

BERNIE SANDERS: Republican Coronavirus Relief Plan Focuses on ‘Corporate CEOs’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.23.20

Far-left Senator Bernie Sanders ripped the Republicans’ Coronavirus relief package on social media Monday; saying the plan focuses on “corporate CEOs” at the expense of “food and transit workers.”

“Reading the Republican coronavirus bill, you’d think the most important people in America are corporate CEOs. That is wrong. Our essential workers include: Health workers. Delivery and warehouse workers. Food workers. Transit workers We must put their needs ahead of CEOs,” posted Sanders on twitter.

President Trump sent a message of hope directly to the American people during his daily press briefing Sunday evening; saying the US has “a leader that will always fight for you” and “won’t stop until we win.”

“For those worried and afraid, please know as long as I am your President, you can feel confident that you will have a leader that will always fight for you and I will not stop until we win,” said the Commander-in-Chief flanked by the Vice President.

The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the United States rose to 35,000 over the weekend; making the USA the third largest outbreak in the world after China and Italy.

“As the U.S. works to contain the rapidly spreading virus, Italy has seen surging statistics in both cases and deaths. The number of infections jumped to 59,138, while the death toll stands at 5,476,” reports Fox News. “The death toll in China, where the virus originated in late December and where the contagion rate has started to slow, stood at 3,274, with at least 81,454 confirmed cases.”

“All 50 states have reported confirmed cases of coronavirus. New York has the largest number of cases at nearly 17,000 after seeing a 37.4 percent spike Monday, while Washington has the second-most at 1,996,” adds Fox.

States like California and New York have taken drastic measures to contain the virus; ordering millions of residents to stay at home to slow the spread of the contagion.

BERNIE on CORONAVIRUS: ‘Casualties May Be Even Higher Than What Armed Forces Experienced in WW II’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.13.20

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders weighed-in on the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak across the United States this week; telling reporters the “casualties” could be higher than what “the Armed Forces experienced” in the Second World War.

“In terms of potential deaths…the crisis we face is on a scale of a major war…we also have to face the truth and that is that the number of casualties may actually be even higher than what the armed forces experienced in World War II,” said Sanders during a press briefing on the virus.

President Trump addressed the nation from the Oval Office Wednesday night; saying it’s time for the American people to unify and combat the Coronavirus outbreak as “one family.”

“No nation is more prepared or more resilient than the United States. We have the best healthcare anywhere in the world. We are all in this together. We must put politics aside, stop the partisanship and unify together as one nation and one family,” said the President.

“History has proven time and time again, Americans always rise to the challenge and overcome adversity. Our future remains brighter than anyone can imagine,” he added.

The global Coronavirus outbreak continued to have a major impact on the American economy and sporting world Thursday; with A-list actor Tom Hanks testing positive for the disease and the NBA suspending its entire season until further notice.

“Actor Tom Hanks, his wife Rita Wilson, they have tested positive for Coronavirus. They are in our prayers tonight,” said Hannity.

The President addressing the American public from the Oval Office Wednesday night; unveiling a series of new travel restrictions for all of Europe excluding the United Kingdom.

The 30-day ban starts Friday at midnight and applies to: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, and excludes the United Kingdom and Ireland.
