FBI agents executed a court-authorized search warrant on Wednesday at Fulton County’s Election Hub and Operation Center in Union City, Georgia, seeking 2020 election records.
The records included physical ballots, tabulator tapes, electronic ballot images, and voter rolls, according to the warrant described in reporting and accounts from officials.
The search is the most public indication to date that federal authorities are pursuing a criminal inquiry tied to the 2020 election in Georgia — years after Fulton County became a focal point for voter-fraud allegations that did not change the outcome and were repeatedly tested through audits, recounts, and litigation.
The FBI confirmed agents were executing a “court-authorized law enforcement action” and said it could not provide additional details because the matter remains ongoing.
