AWKWARD! Psaki Learns of Abysmal Jobs Report on LIVE TV, Claims She Can’t Comment

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.03.21

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki learned about November’s abysmal jobs report live on national television Friday morning; claiming she can’t publicly comment on the figures until 930 because of White House rules.

“The jobs number just crossed. 210,000 just added. If we look at that breaking news right now, that’s a number that, what, feels a little off?” asked the host.

“I know this sounds a little archaic, but I can’t comment on them until 9:30!” said Psaki.

US hiring slowed in November 2021 as the country continues its slow recovery amid the ongoing COVID pandemic; adding just 210,000 new positions that disappointed most economists’ expectations.

“The Labor Department said in its monthly payroll report released Friday that payrolls in November rose by just 210,000, well below the 550,000 jobs forecast by Refinitiv economists. The unemployment rate (which is calculated based on a separate survey) dropped more than expected to 4.2% from 4.6% — the lowest level since the pandemic began,” reports Fox News.

“Today’s employment report is doubly disappointing, because the reference week occurred just as it looked like Covid was on the retreat,” said Justin Wolfers, a University of Michigan economist. “This was a moment for people to return to malls and to return to work. The Covid-related news has only gotten worse since then.”

“The job growth stumble comes before the emergence of the newly identified omicron variant of COVID-19, which could jeopardize the global economy’s recovery. There is still a lack of clarity over how dangerous the new variant is, including whether it is more transmissible or capable of causing more severe illness. Early evidence suggests an increased risk of reinfection,” adds Fox.

SPIN BEGIN: Jen Psaki Dodges When Grilled Over Kamala’s ‘Abusive’ Work Environment

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.05.21

White House Press Secretary deflected recent criticism of Kamala Harris’ “work environment” after a report from Politico claimed employees feel as if they are treated “like s**t.”

“Is the White House concerned that some vice presidential staffers reportedly feel like they work in a quote ‘abusive environment?’” Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked.

“Well I would first note that I try not to speak to or engage on anonymous reports or anonymous sources,” Psaki said. “I will say that the vice president is an incredibly important partner to the president of the United States.”

“She has a challenging job, a hard job, and she has a great supportive team of people around her,” she added. “Other than that, I’m not going have any more comments on those reports.”
