ANTISEMITISM HEARING DERAILED: Pro-Palestinian Protesters Repeatedly Interrupt Judiciary Committee [WATCH]

During a House Judiciary hearing on Wednesday on the rise of antisemitism on college campuses, pro-Palestinian protesters frequently interrupted the proceedings, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

From The Messenger:

Before Connor Ogrydziak, a recent University of Buffalo graduate, could speak, a pro-Palestine protester disrupted the hearing and was removed from the room.

“Over 10,000 people have been killed,” an activist yelled, referring to Israeli strikes on Gaza.

Multiple other protesters joined in the heckling as the committee tried moving on, with one accusing Congress of “trying to silenceRashida Tlaib,” a vocal Israel critic who has faced multiple censure efforts in Congress, and another accusing them of “trying to silence students” speaking out against Israel responding to Hamas’ October 7 attack that led to more than 1400 deaths.

Ogrydziak was interrupted six times before he could give his testimony with protesters crying for a “ceasefire now” and “free Palestine!”

“We will remove every single person who disrupts this hearing,” House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, warned at one point as several more demonstrators stood up and were removed.
